Kısmet Tatlı Integrated CIP and Process Automation Modernization Project

About Project
At the Kısmet Tatlı production facility, the CIP system together with pasteurization and heating heat exchangers was supplied and commissioned by us on a turnkey basis; existing lines and production tanks were retrofitted and integrated into a centralized automation infrastructure. The project brought hygiene standards fully under control, optimized production times, and significantly increased operational efficiency.
This modernization project carried out at the Kısmet Tatlı production facility involved the complete restructuring of the plant's cleaning and process infrastructure from end to end.
Within the scope of the project, a central CIP (Cleaning in Place) system was designed and commissioned by us from scratch. Pasteurization and in-line heating heat exchangers were newly supplied and integrated into the system. Existing production lines and production tanks were retrofitted and incorporated into an advanced automation structure.
With the installed centralized CIP infrastructure, all cleaning operations across the facility were standardized and made digitally manageable. Thanks to recipe-based cleaning scenarios, each piece of equipment is cleaned with the correct parameters, greatly reducing operator dependency and ensuring a sustainable hygiene standard.
Through retrofit automation works carried out on the lines and production tanks, the entire process became traceable and manageable through the central control system. This transformation minimized operational errors and significantly improved process safety and sustainability.
With the integration of pasteurization and heating heat exchangers, the product is conditioned in a controlled manner on the line before reaching the production tanks. This approach optimized process durations and created a substantial acceleration in production flow.
As a result of this engineering solution, the facility's operational performance improved significantly. Before the project, the same production volume required working until 10:00 PM; after commissioning, operations could be completed around 6:00 PM. This provided approximately 4 hours of daily time savings and improved production efficiency by around 15-20%.
